With that, I managed to get my book review done this morning. Anyway, about the story...A girl named Megan had a friend named Annabel. But people call her Annie for short. (Lols. Why does all the stories I read these days have the main characters name as Annabel?) Such a coincidence. Anyway, the main character, "I" is Megan. Megan is kinda like a bookworm too. However, she admires an author named Harriet Chance. Megan's birthday is coming up and she yearns for one of Harriet's new book, Scarlet Feather. However, Annie promises Megan that she'll have something even MORE exciting for her birthday. Annie then found this new site on the web but Megan is not allowed to visit chatrooms. Annie says that the site is a site for bookworms. People can chat all about books. Its like a "Bookroom" instead of a chatroom. Annie told Megan that she has been speaking to Harriet's daughter, Lori recently about Megan. Megan was envious of Annie caz she gets to visit chatrooms. Annie then planned with Lori to give Megan a huge surprise. Lori asks her mom if she could meet up with Megan caz Megan was her Number 1 fan and its her wish to meet Harriet. Megan's birthday is on Saturday but they meet up on Thursday. Megan was nervous as she can't believe she was actually going to meet Harriet Chance in real life. However, they told no one about it. Harriet then drives them to a small cottage near the place where her grandmother lives. It was deserted. Harriet told Megan and Annie that she oftens go there to write her books caz its quiet and peaceful and she can get more ideas. Megan and Annie believed her. However, Megans starts suspecting that that woman isn't Harriet as she answered differently from how Megan heard about her. However, Annie doesn't suspect a thing caz she doesn't know Harriet as well as Annie does.In the end, it turned out that Harriet was a fake. But, she let the both of them go (caz she abit crazy) and they went to get help. It turned out that the fake Harriet was abit "boing" (crazy) caz of her daughter's death. She let the both of them go because she felt guilty. (Thats why I tell you she was abit guilty...) In the end, they were both saved but they said that they made a grave mistake. How could they not thought of her being a fake? The author describe until very real like that. When I was reading it, at first I also thought is ok. Then I suddenly also starts suspecting like Megan did. Why didn't I think of that? Why didn't SHE think of that too? Like very real like that. So fun reading! But also very scary la..I read finish le like abit scared like that... But I know we won't fall for that type of trick la...Unless is somebody...=)Wishing upon a star...
